Wow.. did my try out with my 500D, not too bad, even though i must admit tt video recording lacks slightly in terms of performance and speed. Anw, it's a digi cam, so shouldnt expect it to behave as a video cam. LOL.

When to vivo right after my collection of free gifts(EOS bag, User Guide Bk, 8GB high speed SD card------actually is counted into the price) at canon digi lab, located @ keppel bay blah blah.. forgot. Took couple of shots using my prime lens, the 50mm f/1.8. Happens to be the way i expected. Best to use it in low-light situation. Love it. Happy to see that the aperture of my camera can 1st time reach to as big as 1.8, usual 3.5.

EOS Bag too big liao la. So offbeat. May sell it away. Saw ppl selling it at $25 @ clubsnap. I wonder if i should sell it away too.... hmmm..

4 days after buying this cam, price dropped by S$100.

Ava club celebration at Orchid Park Condo.. Erm.. 1st time havin this kinda celebration cum gathering not bad la.. but abit dead and boring.. gotta improve on tt..lolz.. since it's the 1st year it should be smth proud of for those who rendered effort for tis celebration. Anyway, i went off pretty early la, so nv eat anything or play any games in the evening and night. So went there 3hrs in total, from 2-5. haha. Guys went for swimming pool de games, so only captured UHN(upper half naked) guys. Better not post. =) Later i tio beaten up.

Brought Canon 500D at MS Colour in the evening. Nice photos, great noise reduction, other than tt everything looks similar and works the same way as the 450D. HD movie recording sux though, but tt's not the main aim i am looking for anw. So not tt kind of sian diao. And yes, 15.1Mp, great for making large prints, photo competitions, and greater ease of cropping photos to a smaller size tt still reach the desire resolution..

One bad thing, file size damn big. Higher ISO, larger file size.
Can go up to 8MB when ISO reaches 12800. Even though such situations of using high ISOs are extremely rare.

Kinda unpleasent experience at the MS colour (AMK hub). Saw some comments @ clubsnap abt their 'pek chek' and act clever attitude at HUB and proven to be correct today. I was like asking the ISO expansion capability when he asked me with tt kind of hao lian look"需要那么高做什么？" Shit you. Asking not equals to "will use it" rite? I'll accept if you tok to me in a helpful way, but u give me tt kinda look? Puke. Close shop la. I think he is like thinking: teenage nia, wont buy one. lolz..

Ok, back from my hot temper. MS colour quoted S$1250, inclusive GST at both the HUB and Blk 711. Tt's like alot cheaper than tt $1399 at courts.

Had our dinner at S11, beside tt MS colour main outlet. But before tt we went and ask for the prices. Their service and attitude between this two stores differ by donno how many megametres. Blk 711 de very polite, allow me to test the cameras for a long time without toking and distract me. =) Thumbs up!~ Before leaving, she offered her namecard somemore. But then she abit niao(1) , cannot lower price one. Chey!

Back from our dinner, we asked again, this time round looking for florence(lady boss). One guy immediately know tt i must have done tt eqoute. So he asked "EQOUTE AR?" lolz..

But luckly got make tt e-quote thingy. E-quote de price is $1240, cheaper by $10. I tend to believe equote more 划算 anw. They admit lowering prices in equotation deliberately.
Tried different models, Sony A500, Canon 500D, Nikon D5000 (All happen to have the number "5" in their model no. haha!) Nikon is 1st out of my sight cos its the worse among all 3 models(i believe). Both the Sony A500 and canon 500D are difficult to decide.

Sony sort of appeals me more than canon at 1st, due to it's tilt screen, 5fps, solid built and excellent grip. But she(tt "saleswoman". not tt boss cos she went home liao.) quoted me a price tt is not according to equote de (told you she very "niao"(1)"), so it's like not worth it lor.)
Furthermore she kept on pursuading on sony, cos she wearing sony ma. I guessed she can get commision from it. tt's y.. Or hu noes?
Maybe sony is really better.. but no regrets actually, cos both equally good to me. I think Canon better in terms of processor and screen (920k dots vs 230k dots on sony). Haiz.. nvm. Buy liao just hope the SRP(suggested retail price) will continue to stay at $1399. Better still. Stay at this price forever. =) I usually hate seeing prices going down immediately after buying it. Like knife piercing though my heart, u see?

$1235 after hard negiotation. Comes with LCD protector, UV filter, EOS Bag, User Guide Book, 8GB SD, free 2-hr course and free 50mm f/1.8 lens. Haiz.. very tired liao.. gotta go sleep.. nights ppl~

fun.. really fun.. unforgettable memory.. Been in this school for 4 years, grown up a little, and did foster long lasting friendships. i saw some schoolmates that i seldom talk to, and some friends who we know each other in heart.. Now, 4 years of memory just sped pass us, and it's kinda sad when we contantly knew that we are going to leave each other, towards different goals in life. Who knows whether our friendship will last forever?

Will upload some grad nite photos, once im free.. hehe.. cos this laptop de colour very fade, can't do a proper photo editing.

Can you imagine u urself searching for shoes for like 1 hr and did not buy any in the end? Cos i experienced tt today. Not because i 挑剔, is just because there's no size no.8. Went to several stores (about 4) and none got my size. tabuleh tahan. Walked all the way from ION to orchard central somemore. leg sibei suai, back sibei painful. nvm. i guess i dont have tt luck today. budden met someone. Mdm yeo. lolz..

Touched alot of cameras today. Sony especially, at their retail stores. They are friendly, nv even disturb me when i was experimenting wif those cameras. Thats wat i want, give me some sense of freedom not like tt courts. Boasting his imaginary knowledge when he seriously donno. But not bad leh, their lens are quite decent, just like canon de. Budden nv really saw any fast lens. Only those common ones. I guess i gotta do some research and determine which one i should focus on.. yup.. sony is currently in my consideration. canon and sony. Nikon D5000 is no good. So off u go nikon. Bye~

phew... after months of KNS prepations and exhausting days of doing papers and papers, it's finally over. Now is to wait for tt graduation night thingy, which is..er.. 4-5 days from now. lol.. i am not anticipating for tt day to come though, just feel very tired and want it to end quickly. Still nid to class vid somemore.. all bo liao things come straight to me after chem paper. nvm.. i 好人 do for the class. =) i think is do finish le. donno accept not. LOL.

Chem paper? check ans from some good and reliable website. i stubbonly think (which others also believe tt way) that there is one error.. quest 34. Most ppl think is D but ms loi typed A... i dont want wrong leh..lolz.. If no error or no shading mistakes, i should be 39 baz.. hopefully..

Brought the shirts for grad nite liao. Donno good a not.. lolz.. spend like over $100 for tt.. haiz.. hopefully next time can still wear. or else very wasteful.. 父母亲的血汗钱... 100+ dollars, i can save for my canon prime lens. SOB. oh ya.. also went to courts see see camera, since touching them not nid to pay. hehe.. at most they only give bosong face.. While i was pointing to my mum the 500D, tt 'half helpful and see me as a noob' sellsman walked up to ask if we nid any help. He recommended me to buy tt sony donno wat brand at $699. Cheaper than 500D by half the price. (500D at $1399). lolz.. 10.1 megapix. not a good one. The grip gives me no confidence cos it doesnt fit my hands at all. Might really drop if someone were to really walk past me and accidently knock onto it. lolz.. tt salesman still got that money-face look. Haolian explanation really make me wanna correct him. next paper will be on 10 nov, where my 'always flunk' paper will come and defeat me. it's none other than HCL. SOB. Hope i will not be killed.

If i make full use of these days, hopefully i can secure at least B4? i dont want a C. As usual, Eng partially did badly, nv secure those marks tt i should obtain. hopefully chi can give me some glimpse of hope. =)

Lame.
Chem paper 2-- wow! amazingly surprised cos there are as many as 3 organic chem questions. Lucky nv drown me. Organic chem i still can handle.. bud den one inorganic chem question suxs. i can only thrust my hand tt i nv write careless answers during the paper.. if there are only little carelesses, at least there is still little hope.
Phy paper 2-- embarrasing. few marks gone just because of tt. wasted.. now worring if can get a1 not.. not surprising tt it will drop. i got myself ready for the worse. =)

today's chem practical was a disaster.
Damn chaos.
Jian Teng and I paired up to do the experiment and there's one part where requires heating.
Heating of Ca(OH)2. lolz..

Blue solution with blue ppt.
Heat.
Nth happens leh?
Heat more.
Huh? NO change?
Aiya.. just place the test tube near the mouth la.
No change.
Suddenly, in a split second.

'POP!!'
Not because of the presence of hydrogen. (no hydrogen in the 1st place)
The base of the test tube scattered into pieces. I could only gain conscious for couple of minutes.
Phew. Turn off the burner.
Next, frantically search for safety goggles (i think we are quite smart.) so teacher will not spot our mistakes and scold us. Lame.

weeks ago entered a photo competition. will noe the result on 15 may i think.. gd luck to all other 4 participants representing the school.the 1st prize was a panasonic DSLR..lolz..

not really think of winning.. cos winning not impt to me..also very hard to win... most impt is tt my photos can showcase for the exibition for 2 weeks can le. yeah.. anw, wish myself gd luck too..hahaz.

ytd having hmt exam.. paper 1 and 2.. donno can do well not.. budden i think the 报章报道 not really well written. Sob.haha... the paper2 was slightly easier.. really. we managed to finish up the paper in abt 1.5h? cos i think the paper abt short. yeah..

Strange today. Cos we were forced to wear tie today during the morning assembly. And I think we really 发神经, just like what mdm yeo said. Suddenly love school so much. lolz.. Hahaz.. nothing special until we deliberately swop class with 4F today. The teachers expectedly kana fooled, esp mdm yeo and mr lee.lolz… took some videos on mdm yeo and mr lee, but haven upload yet… very time consuming. Will find some free time doing tt. So if u wanna see their reaction, kindly wait for a couple of days. Haha.

1st period: Mdm Yeo--- Chemistry.
Lolz.. fooled. Came to 4F very surprise to see us swoping class wif 4F students.. Maybe she think we too creative to do tt liao.

2nd –3rd period: Mr Lee--- Physic.
Some of us when to the other side of the classrm block to spy on Mr Lee, and I was there taking the video. We were being spotted by mr tan and he advised us to go back. However, Mr lee was on his way to the ‘wrong classroom’. Mr tan, acting helpful, shouted mr lee on the other side. And we were like on battle field like tt, suddenly squat down to ‘camouflaged’ ourselves from being spotted. But afterall, mr lee continued to walk in to class 4G. LOLZ.. Stunned.

AVA club farewell party
Haha.. was very tiring. But fun actually… thanks to all those making effort for this party.. really appreciated.. very different kind of party.
3.30pm.. DOnno y.. Changing to PE shirt and shorts was like giving myself a life sentence. Cos we knew that we will get a lot of ‘sabos’ here and there by others. And besides, today’s april’s fool, so they will definitely make full use of today’s party.

KL’s initial plan – to splash water on seniors.
My plan – TO allow all JUNOIRS TO SPLASH AT KL. AND I WILL CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY FOR THOSE ACTIONS.

Lolz.. then we had games.
1st, seniors blind-folded.

2nd, we had to go through some ‘maze thingy’ at the netball court.. WALAO EH~ the ground was DAMN hot. I can feel my feet BURNING.. after going through the route that i am supposed to go, my blindfold was taken off and we were asked to solve the scrambled cube. Each member will have to turn the cube once and followed by the other member. And I was the one giving commands. lolz.. in the end we were the second to complete.

3rd, eating marshmallow.
No hands allowed, and we have to get one marshmallow using our mouths. SO can you imagine everyone’s saliva on the whip cream itself???? Gross!!

I nearly vomited, cos I was the second person to eat and got my appetite dissipated when I saw WEI BIN having his 1st ‘drawing’ on the cream. NO MOOD LIAO. The whole thing suddenly becomes very 恶心.
We take turns to finish up the marshmallow, with me having 3 marshmallows stuck in my mouth. DONNO WHY CANNOT GO DOWN MY THROAT. TOO WATERY FEELING. VERY GROSS. I kept on having the nearly vomit type of expression. I believe I cannot take.. the fear in me I guessed. Marshmallow should taste nice, but the interior fear force me to abort the ‘enjoyment’.lolz.

SPLASH WATER TIME… SOME JUNIORS GO TAKE THE Initiative to splash KL..lolz.. I went to help too. So funny.. cos he did not even expect to be splashed by all of us.. who’s the master planner? Me. YEAH!! 成功!!

But then, they come back splash me minutes later. KL’s plan. 100% wet. Lolz.. like having shower with shirt on. HA!

Then after everything’s over, we went back get changed, and came back to the canteen to have our pizza..lolz..

Haha.. moments of happiness, moments of sadness. Happy thing, we had fun during the party. Sad thing, tt will be our last day with the juniors le. No more duties, no more work together. Hardly know the sec 1s and 2s, but it’s time for us to separate both ways. During the 4 years of PA experiences, from a non-CCA to a official CCA now, we, especially the sec 4, experienced the bad times with disputes and the good times with joy. Eventually we came back united as one. For the very last time as a AVA member.

4 years.
I’ve learned many things.
From a childish person to a not-so- childish person.
For any silly things made last time, sincerely sorry. Cos tt kind of thing will not happen in my life again.
Conversation on 31 jan 2008. I’ve learnt from my mistake. But hu knows? Now my heart’s dead. Everything’s too late for me to make amendments.

yoz... it's been a long time man.. abt 1 month nv post le..lolz... many things happening and some forget liao..hahaz..

rubics cube competition (4/5 mar 09)
i was quite satisfied with the results.. cant believe i can get win in this competition..haha.. 3rd place out of 20+ ppl, wif john 2nd and jian teng 4th (sorri jian teng, me KO you..) quite satisfied le, cos i gain some experience. And besides, i was forced to participate. lolz.. so i was consider luckly ba.. not facing with other strong opponents during the preliminary, semi rounds. Until quarter fianals, when i met zhi yi, the stongest opponent. so shui lor, lose and down to 3rd/4th position. JT met John and eventually lose, so we had to pk each other for 3rd placing..lolz.. abit of regret, cos i did not meet john at all during the competition. previously thought tt i will eventually meet him during the rounds. lolz.. but anws, gd job, 2nd is very good le.. don ask for perfection, ask for the experience you gain. positions is smth tt shows you where you stand, but as long as you did well better than the others, tt your achievement. So cheer up!!=)

its been 2 weeks, and there are no replies on the photocompetition.. lolz.. did i win? haha.. don really care, cos outside in this small dot got alot of good photographers. But if i were to win smth, i may save some to buy a DSLR =). canon 450D maybe, or 1000D also can. after i receieve an email on me losing the competition, i will try and find some time uplod some photos i submitted.lolz..

Photography lesson for AVA club (today)
Find mr peh today, and he gave me alot of 提示 and useful knowledge on presenting infront of many people provide they can understand what i wanna teach to them. Some useful notes like 'whats makes a good photographer/ how to take gd photograph and so on..lolz... so i think i will redo abit.. cos my plan abit chim. chim until i don even expect them to know.lolz.. so will improve some.. cos tt's my 1st time doing a 'quite big' presentation.hahaz..

we reached the ochard(donno how to spell, pronuced as ohrr-ket) park at abt 11.35am. some of us were there quite early cos nid prepare things like games or smth.. and i was there to tie trash bags. lolz.. not a tiring job anw, just donno where to tie nia.

final briefing for the amazing race. i was involved cos i was the last person tt everyone was going to find..lolz..but anw, was very sian throughout the whole game. Was waiting for people to spot me leh.. u noe how terrible? lolz... still my location got alot of mosquitos. aiya~ cannot stand it liao.. so i went back to the BBQ pit, took my MP3 and go ahead listening while waiting..lolz.. but then, quite nice leh... see ppl run here run there, do punishments..lolz..perhaps i abit sick.

wowz, ran 5.5km today and cant believe tt i can still seat right in front of the com screen typing..lolz.. sian ar... kk... back to EOY marks. Emath... yeah~ our class did very well... almost half of the class managed to score an A. We were also the best among all express classes. Yeah! Previously ms Lin told me tt i scored an A for my emath during the sec 4 graduation ceremony. YEah~ was very happy cos i actually lose 13 marks le.. and still manage to do well.. was unbelievable for me too... cos that will be my 1st time scoring an A for emath... anw, i scored 86/100.. perviously was 78/100. donno which cher forget to add in the graph marks for me. Anw, tt's the best subject im scoring..lolz..

A math. Dots. A2 for overall. but B3 for this EOY.. i think is 68/100 if not wrong.. deprove.. too many careless le... was damn dissapointed. but luckly was b3, not b4 and below..haha..

today~ the chem lesson was extremely kaoz.
mdm yeo once again to set up her laptop. Now, she wants sound cable today.. previously we tested tt sound cable and it cant work... (donno y, and PLS, don ask me y..) now... it still cant work. obvious.
Then she was very frust. Don believe me? k lor..i wasnt very sure actually..
she went to 3H, called samuel (if im not wrong) and was asked to diagnosed the problem. then, he press that PC button, 'beep' followed by a 'wooooOOoonnnnn' (feedback).

Early in the morning, KL got a piece of gd news for all PA crew. We guys will have CIP pts for the effort we put in during the anniversary, those rehersals actually. We only act as backups during the actual day. lolz.

woke up at 9, eat breakfast le then went back to sleep. Supposed to reach school by 11am for donno wat COE thing. Kaoz, overslept by 20 mins and chiong to sch..lolz.

I wished i could overslept more, if so, i will not have to help tt mr oh to polish tt COE door handles le. tell us do this kinda sai-kang.. like tt still say not bright.dots.. hand very 酸 one leh..

then i and jian teng was suppose to reach control rm at 11.45. bud den was 1pm++. KL was like thinking 'why go help?' cos we dont have the time to eat lunch. but after tt john and i went to ta-bao. chicken rice. $2.30, quite nice. Finished food outside LT.

yeah... everything went smoothly. expected, cos those pros are doing.
became 'runner' at control rm. run only twice i think..but nv la... nice show.. nice to view from control rm also.

ok la... was very the tiring. Everyday got the anniversary rehearsal..lolz. wondering wat we will be doing tml afternoon. those professionals are doing and i don really see any pt going sch tml.. really lor... was like damn *yarns*.

Early in the morning our class won the 2nd place for the class cleanness. Then mdm yeo told me to take tt hamper 1st and then post it on class blog...kk watever... XK help me take actually..

PE...had basketball matches with gps and gps and gps.. got trashed out for every single matches. i shot a ball to the net (when the match ended 5 secs before.) Then we proceeded to the store room and take our height and weight.

"wow~ jian hern u have gain weight.. last time was at 40.4 now at 43.6 wow~"

lolz.. thanks man. JT's weight 35.5 (thats when that weighting thing got problem.. it starts at -5.4kg i think...) scared everyone. luckly that mrs goh allow him to take again... otherwise...

yeah and everything was like lesson lesson lesson.... oh ya... no hcl today.. mdm goh sick. and we were suppose to hand a compo by today, however due to 心不在焉, i wrote abt 3/4 pg long and then start to chat liao.

After sch, i and JT at LT standby for tt festive drum event..yeah... went smooth, only slow in un-muting tt com 2 channel (my fault can~lolz.) then we proceed to the MPH for the final rehearsal tt nid us PA crews cos no pros comming to sch and do tt portable sound and lighting.

4 boommics, 2 wireless, and 2 UHF. Yeah... i remembered. only AKGs not in use.
Nth much to do actually...only tt CO performance nid more concern. don really take care. mic stand wanna topple? aiya... let it topple lor..anws, they will grab the stands for us one. Yarns. and everything end much more early.

tml 11.45, half-u, control rm gather...hmm.. wondering wat we will be doing tml.. stop and stare.(made me remember tt song) lolz.

yesterday, youth day celebration. Today, anniversary rehearsal. Star up late till abt er.... 8+? lolz...

Yeaterday celebration was like damn long. We were the last few ones to leave the sch. will be having the youth day celebration tml... backstage once again..lolz? haha... i am alright with anything :) Saw the PSL @ cambodia video... haha.. quite nice actually. And also the CO featuring ms woo..lolz.cant hear her voice that obvious actually.yarns.... tt's small cake. today was like si bei not really happy lor..tt mr l stopped me from taking NCC fotos at the parade sq. okok la.. i abit too 过分 in taking fotos la.. but he like tt say me wanna me feel pai seh is it? at tt moment, me sms kl.

yeah... don really noe y me still can tahan till now.. wah lao eh~ today very long leh... got o level oral exam so the anniversary was push back time to 5... latest by 7? ..7.15 to be precise. Was very tiring lor..lolz.. also damn frustrated today.. mics issues..haha... was appointed as ic of the backstage, and the CO chairs arrangement was arranged too much to the front...result: mic points being blocked,no space for mic stands.. luckly tired.. otherwise me scold ppl liao ar~ no la.. jkjk..

okok lar.. not bad.. gotta chit-chat with ppls before the rehersal...

today PE.. wa~lolz.. mrs goh wanna me jump the standing broad jump.. cos short of 1 point to get sliver.. unfortunately, still cannot..lolz.. looks like i have to stick to bronze le..haha.. after sch gt pleaded me to help him do the sortings of the eng assignments..but i thought PA start earlier, so i went for PA..lolz.. tt's was PSL are for..(pang seh leaders) haha...jkjk..

And today's the 1st day of term 3. yarns. nth much, jus noe tt our eng cher tio change to mrs yeo, former music cher. lolz~ and also PE change to fri, HCL also change to friday. In other words, no more early lunch!

Actually there's a meeting with all PA buddys but got something on. KL was partially right. i went back to harborfront (not sentosa) to buy something important. Cos was inform to collect today. Quite interesting.. cost me 6 bucks.

And also abt the class blog thing.. haiz... don feel like doing one actually but no choice still nid to do.lolz. will try and do sui sui..

almost forget to mention.. today damn funny. During mr lee's lesson he was covering donno wat centre of gravity thingy when he tried to spin a textbk with great difficulty.. therefore he asked who noes how to spin a bk. just then, (like writing compo like tt) the whole class shouted jian tengherntengherntenghern. Actually it was jian teng's name tt's much louder then me. Mr lee heard wrong. JIAN HERN!! COME AND DEMO IN FRONT OF THE CLASS. .. then i sort of push to jian teng but failed. how? really go spin lor.. was ahrm chio like mad. the bk luckly nv fall. heng otherwise me lose face.lolz. then jt was like suaning me tt i hao lian today..lolz. sorri tt i nv call u and me together and spin.. cos really damn funny la~

Lolz..very sian.. came back from cambodia,5-10 june.. come back ~sick~ haha~ happened to ask gt if he still sick today. waha.. i think he in recoverin state and he said he just started emath. jiayous. Yeasterday went with sis and mum to causeway pt de cinema watch kongfu panda. damn funny lor..lolz. was amazed by dreamworks animation. Their creators very the pro.lolz. Then after tt when to my uncle hse for like 1 hr.. haha...Terrible thing happened. My muscle started to cramp and cramp.. ~tighter and tighter~lolz. but now okok le..
