Capturing Climate Change.Photo Competition

Yoz...haha.. Wat does climate change means to you? this photo competition was on 20 Aug.Obvious.. nv win anything.lolz... anws the top prize was $1000 total of 8 prizes.. but one of my foto was in the top 30s..haha..Was thinking y not just post regarding the competition thingy... lolz.. even though it's abit late le..haha.. offbeat.

A New Beginning (Selected)
Just above the fallen leaves, I spotted its presence. Under such gloomy environment, this plant manages to survive and is determined to give itself a new beginning. While trying to ignore the disturbances around its surroundings, it was finally acknowledged by me, an original passer-by. Though this photo, I realised that we, as human being, are just too selfish to think of others. Plants deserve a chance to grow; they have feelings just like us.
---------------------------------

Cleared for CO2.
Captured in Cambodia, this photo shows the massive deforestation and their negative impacts to the Earth. Few hectares of trees were cleared and the tree shown in this photo could not multiply its intake of carbon emissions and to accommodate the loss of other trees. This photo also helps to gain awareness towards the impact of deforestation, while claiming that the consequences are REAL. With the only tree in this photo, it showed the contrast with the cleared land, expressing the urgency of this issue where people should look closely into.
---------------------------------

Every Bit COunts
Who said that all trashes can’t be recycled? Get the facts right; Cardboards primarily come from trees. By recycling, we can reduce the dependence on trees for more cardboard. In this photo, it highlights the efforts made to conserve nature resources as well as to protect our mother Earth. Just by little contribution, efforts will not be wasted. Being an immigrant on this planet, that should be the way to contribute.
---------------------------------

Bitter Xperience
By a look at this photo, it was obvious to tell that the tree was dead. To be more specific, this photo shows the effect that acid rain can have on a tree. Acid rain is primarily formed by the transformation of pollutants from vehicles and factories. Under such condition, some trees cannot survive. This photo delivers a message to everyone that harmful pollutants can destroy what nature has offered to us and we should seek various measures to reduce emission of harmful pollutants.

Kk.. shall go study le... will not online anymore..lolz.. bb..
